Das CCIM zeigt selbstbewusst mit starken form eine eigene Identität, es schafft seine eigene Qualität und Atmosphäre. Die städtebaulichen Anbindungen zur Umgebung sind stark ausgeprägt, z.b. eine Passage durch den komplex die die Grünfläche im Westen mit den Türmen und der Straße im Osten verbindet.

Mit seinen zahlreichen Volumen übernimmt das Kongress-Zentrum den Maßstab seiner Umgebung. Der Park fließt durch den Bau und schafft gleichzeitig einen Zugang zum Gebäude sowie zum Park.

Jedes der Volumen beherbergt einen eigenen Teil des Raumprogramms und macht es den Besuchern einfach, die Struktur zu verstehen und sich zu orientieren.

Der Haupteingang bietet einen kontrollierten Zugang zum Komplex, aber auch jeder einzelne Bauteil kann separat erschlossen werden.

Die Beziehung zur Umgebung ist intensiv, der grüne Außenraum ist eine Erweiterung des Innenraumes. Er vervollständigt das Angebot mit Themen, wie Garten, Fußwegen, Sportplätzen, Cafes, etc.

Presenting itself as a strong form with its own identity, the building for the new CCIM creates a place with his own quality and atmospehre.

The urbanistic links to the surrounding are strong, such as a passage through the complex that connects the green areas in the west with the towers in the east and the street.

With its several volumes the new Convention Center gets the scale from its surrounding. The park is flowing through the building complex and offers an entrance to the park and to the building at the same time.

The main entrance gives controlled access to all the parts of the building, but also every part of the whole can have an independend access for visitors and for services. Every space can be used in different ways, can be changed easily for the actual purpose.

The connection with its surrounding is intense, the green outdoor area is an extension of the interior. It completes the program with uses like gardens, pedestrian ways, sports facilities, cafes, etc.
