Das Holzhaus wird hauptsächlich aus PHE einem Massivholz ohne Leim errichtet, dieses Material mit seiner wunderschönen genuteten Struktur ist sichtbar verwendet und prägt die Erscheinung im Innenraum. Die lineare Struktur der Stösse unterstreicht den asiatischen Touch des Hauses. Aussen ist der gesamte Baukörper, inklusive Dach mit einer Stulpschalung aus Lärchenholz verkleidet.
Die komplette Südfassade ist verglast und macht das Haus zu einem lichtdurchfluteten Wohnerlebnis. Geplant ist das Smarthaus mit bisher 5 verschiedenen Grundrissvarianten bei immer gleichen Aussenmassen. Erhältlich sind zb eine effiziente Variante für Familien, eine luxuriöse Loftvariante, sowie eine Version für Arbeiten und Wohnen.
Energetisch ist das Haus ebenso fantastisch, so dass es in der Standardversion ausschliesslich mit einem Kachelofen beheizt wird.
Der gemauerte Ofen ist mit handgemachten, portugiesischen Kacheln bekleidet. Die Fugenfarbe entspricht der Farbe des Tons ebenso wie die Farbe des Stampfbetons aus dem die angrenzende Bank gebaut ist.

The brick oven is covered in handmade Portuguese tiles. The color of the joints corresponds to the color of the clay as well as the color of the stamped concrete from which the adjacent bench is built.
